National DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Day

You can help prevent medication abuse and misuse in our community!

Please collect any unused medications you may have in your home for safe, effective, and environmentally-friendly disposal at at this April 27th event.

Crime stoppers will also host a Shred-It truck from 11am to 1pm at the Geistown Fire Company.

***(Liquids and creams should be placed in a zip-lock bag)

In addition, there will be four locations where people can drop off unwanted needles for safe disposal; Richland Fire Department, Carrolltown Police Department, Mainline Pharmacy (Portage location) and Mainline Pharmacy (Ebensburg location).
