Drug Take Back Day

To all Cambria Township and Ebensburg Borough residents:

The Cambria Township and Ebensburg Borough Police Departments in conjunction with the Dauntless Fire Co, the Colver Fire Co, the Revloc Fire Co and the Ebensburg Ambulance Association would like to hold a “drug take back day” on Friday July 27, 2018 from 6:00 Pm to 8:00 Pm. Anyone who wishes to rid their medicine cabinets of unused medication may do so on this day. The fire companies will be out and about in their respective coverage areas and will be collecting any unused medication you wish to dispose of. We ask that you either turn on your front porch light and they will come to you or simply flag down the fire truck or police car and its members will collect any medication you want disposed of.  All emergency personnel participating in this event will be in identifiable emergency responder vehicles and uniforms. Medication may also be dropped off at the Ebensburg Ambulance Association on West High St in Ebensburg or at the Revloc, Colver, or Dauntless Fire Halls during this event.

It’s important to remember that many of the individuals fighting drug addiction today started off by taking unused medication from parents or relatives medicine cabinets. We can all do our part to stop this problem that plagues our neighborhoods by properly disposing of any unused medications we may have.

Thank You
